Bought the Fitdvr for my 2015 CV-R. The unit stopped working (probably by a power surge). Few messages to them and they immediately sent a replacement at no cost and free shipping. I recently purchased the BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE Plus Dashcam for my 2021 Honda CR-V LX-AWD, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything worked out. The dashcam came with a standard male-to-male 12V DC car charger cable, but my car only has one car charger port, and I needed an alternate way to power the dashcam. I started looking for options to hardwire it, as I couldn't use the existing USB power due to the 12V requirement.
After some research, I reached out to the seller and shared a picture of my car's head trim light location, asking which pin cable would be compatible. The seller was extremely responsive and quickly informed me that a specific 3-pin cable would work for my 2021 CR-V. I placed the order, and when the cable arrived, I was impressed to find that both DC 3.5mm cables (A and B, both 12V) fit perfectly with my BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE Plus.
The installation process was smooth, thanks to a helpful YouTube video provided by the seller. I followed the instructions, and the dashcam has been working flawlessly ever since. It does what it is supposed to do, however, in 9th Gen civic, when you turn the car off, the fitdvr stays on.
